UPS-Off Line

When primary power supply fails, the load is switched to alternative power source. The switching time is about 15ms. This type of Uninterrupted Power Supply system is called Off-Line UPS.

Though inverter has different technical meaning; these Off-Line UPS are popularly known as Inverters.
